…make the most of Athens!

Athens is truly a magical and rich place to visit, an intriguing canvas to explore, combining it’s vast history with the outlook of a modern European capital, it makes for an ideal and hospitable choice for any visitor.

During the day, one can visit of course the Acropolis and the Parthenon, as well as the reputable Acropolis museum, or even the National Archaeological Μuseum. But that is not all of course. You still have the innovative Museum of Cycladic Art, the National Gallery, Thisseio, the Panathenaic Stadium, the staging ground of the first Olympic Games, the Temple Of Olympian Zeus, the Odeon Herodes Atticus that is the host of the summer Athens Festival, and if you prefer a live historical immersion, you can take your time in Monastiraki, especially during the Sunday traditional flea market where tradition meets ancient history at the footsteps of the Roman Market. After all that, indulge yourself to the pedestrian district of Plaka and it’s gift shops, boutiques and lively restaurants, and if you still can, walk uphill to the unreal village of Anafiotika, right under the Acropolis rock.

But that is just the centre of Athens. You can take advantage of our hotel’s location, and explore thSounion_Temple_Poseidone beautiful beaches along the Apollo Coast, like in Agia Marina, Lagonisi, Saronida, Anavyssos, and you can even finish your excursion by visiting the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion where you can enjoy the magnificent sunset. After that, a night in Athens is something completely different.

Close to our hotel, you can surely visit Vouliagmeni or Glyfada for a quality night out having to choose froma wide variety of quality restaurants, clubs and bars. On the other hand, obviously the city centre is again something completely different. From petite tavernas offering traditional ordoeuvres with ouzo and raki, to modern and vibrant nightclubs, Athens always finds the way to pleasantly surprise you!
